Join EJH US on October 24 to celebrate #EndJewHatred Day with Amb. Ronald Lauder

Please join us and Amb. Ronald Lauder in NYC on Monday, October 24 for a SPECIAL EVENT celebrating the proclamation of #EndJewHatred Day!

Elected officials, community leaders, and members of the community will be gathering to proclaim April 29th as “#EndJewHatred Day,” and we would love for you to join! The proclamation special event and celebration of End Jew Hatred Day will be held in New York City on October 24th, 2022 at 5pm at the Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street, New York, NY 10011. #EndJewHatred is a grassroots movement that unites ordinary people, activists, and organizations from around the world who support the cause that defines the movement: to end Jew-hatred in our lifetime. It does so by altering public discourse to make Jew-hatred unacceptable in society, empowering Jews with positivity and strength to discover and enjoy their heritage in whichever manner they choose, without fear of attack or persecution. The proclamation of April 29th as #EndJewHatred Day is tremendously significant. In the face of ever-increasing hate crimes and vile acts of antisemitism targeting the Jewish community, it is a very vocal call to action for the country to unite behind our cause and stand in solidarity with the Jewish community, just as we have stood shoulder to shoulder with other minority and marginalized communities since the start of the Civil Rights era. We are stronger together, united, and unity is strength. Together, we can unwaveringly blaze forward towards the promise of a bright future that can only be achieved by fighting racism and bigotry today.

Ambassador Ronald Lauder, President of the World Jewish Congress, will be presenting a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Jewish community.Ambassador Lauder has been a driving force in recognizing that what the Jewish community faces is best expressed by the term “Jew-hatred,” and has been very supportive of the #EndJewHatred movement. Featured speakers will also include: Brooke Goldstein, Executive Director of The Lawfare Project and a co-founder of the #EndJewHatred movement; Yuval David, Emmy Award-winning actor, director, and filmmaker, and Director of Mobilization for the #EndJewHatred movement; and many other community leaders and activists whose tireless work led to this achievement — including representatives from the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education, a key proponent of this movement. Elected officials that have issued Proclamations will also be recognized for their leadership in this initiative. Two years ago, the #EndJewHatred movement did not exist. Since its inception, it has grown into a force to be reckoned with. Now, with support from elected officials, we can take a huge step forward in the battle against bigotry and racism by also recognizing the need to end Jew-hatred. As a staunch supporter of the Jewish community, we hope you will join us on October 24th, and would love for you to invite others as well. Please RSVP at EJHDAY1024@GMAIL.COM and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
